Recently, the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation contacted the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan with a request to transfer 220-mm rockets for MLRS Uragan.

Details: It is reported that the Russians are also interested in ammunition for the Pion 203-mm self-propelled guns and UTD-20 engines for the BMP-1 and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles. Tajikistan has large stocks of them in military warehouses.

In addition, retired military personnel and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan received offers to sign a contract with the Russian armed forces and participate in the war against Ukraine.

A recruitment drive is also underway in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Graduates of the Higher Military School in Bishkek find messages appearing in their conversations with offers of contract work for the Russian army or one of the Russian private military companies.

Similar recruiting messages are being broadcast across the republic in professional chat groups made up of former military personnel and Interior Ministry employees.
